General

There are many options for the final resting place of a loved one’s ashes. The law stipulates that the ashes of the deceased may only be released one month after cremation. After this statutory period, next of kin may do what they wish with the ashes.

We consider it important that next of kin are able to make well-informed decisions. Which is why we would be delighted to inform you about the possibilities. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We will be only too happy to take time to advise you informally and give you a guided tour.

Westerveld also publishes a special brochure about what to do with the ashes of the deceased. This can be requested by phone or you can view and/or download it at 'downloads'.
